A tragic road accident in Malongo, Homa Bay County, has left one person dead and 15 others critically injured after a truck overturned in Suba South.
The vehicle was carrying 24 members of a church, who were enroute to Suba Sub-County Hospital in Sindo to collect a body for burial when the accident occurred.
Eight other passengers sustained minor injuries and received treatment at a nearby clinic, while those in critical condition were rushed to major hospitals for emergency medical care.
