‘Hope he doesn’t play!’ Paraguay’s goalkeeper is fed up with Messi

SportsWORLD

Paraguay goalkeeper Carlos Coronel hopes that Argentine world cup winner Lionel Messi does not play in the upcoming world cup qualifiers.

Coronel who is the shot stopper for New York Bulls says that he has seen enough of Messi in MSL and a feels that it is a good thing that Messi is out due to injury.

He has already encountered Messi earlier in the MLS season when New York Red Bulls faced Inter Miami in August.

Messi who currently plays for Inter Miami, managed to score against Coronel during that match.

The Paraguayan international believes that there is a chance he might be forced to relive this ‘ horror’ if Messi plays on Thursday.

” Anything can happen, and we’re going to go there and do the best we can, looking for a positive result. That would be incredible for us.”
