In a previous interview, Legal activist Morara Kebaso predicted his ‘arrest’ a month before it happened.
In a chilling sit down on a nightly comedy show, Dr. Ofweneke Tonight on TV47, Morara laid bare his prediction.

During his sit down with Comedian Dr. Ofweneke, he shared his reason for picking activism.
Consequently, Mr. Kebaso made fun of how powerful the government was.

Responding to an inquiry from Dr. Ofweneke about staying safe, Morara shared his chilling response with a straight face.

Morara: God protects people, not me
“Ni God huwa anaprotect watu, sio mimi.” he stated, which translates to, “It is God that protects people, not me.“
The legally trained activist went on to use an allegory to explain his view of safety further.

“If the Lord doesn’t watch over the City, the Watchmen labor in vain.” he stated.
Comedian Dr. Ofweneke continued to show concern for the activist over his extensive work keeping tabs on government projects.

During the interview which aired on Sept 2, 2024, on TV47, he shared why he was firm on pushing for government accountability.

“Government is extremely powerful”
“So ata nijichunge namna gani, the government is still very powerful, extremely powerful.” Stated Morara.
During his sit down with Comedian Dr. Ofweneke, he shared the vanity of being careful.

He expressed his viewpoint with a chilling face as the interview concluded.
Coincidentally, weeks later, it is becoming more apparent that he has been embroiled with alleged law enforcement officers in what has been termed as an abduction.

Kenyan authorities are yet to share official statements of the official whereabouts of Morara Kebaso.
