Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe has hit back at Mumias East MP Peter Salasya after the legislator publicly distanced himself from her, claiming he wanted to focus on “wife material” women.
Huddah, known for her bold personality and direct approach, did not hold back in her response to the MP.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Huddah addressed Salasya’s recent statements.
“Mimi si kienyeji bro, tafuta size yako,“ she said.
Her words come after Salasya declared that he was no longer interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with the socialite and had decided to return to “vienyeji” (local women).
Huddah further revealed that Salasya had once sent her KSh10,000, an amount she barely noticed.
She sarcastically noted, “This guy sent me 10K which I didn’t even notice. Usiniharibie jina coz of $80 bro,” highlighting the triviality of the money sent by the MP.
According to Huddah, she quickly refunded the amount, saying, “Wacha members wajue nilirudisha pesa ya chakula ya kuku.”
The socialiate added by saying, “How would I notice KSh10,000 surely when people send 2,200,000”
“Someone sent me KSh2 million how could I ever have noticed KSh10,000 surely!”
“I didn’t even notice,I didn’t even see it. Small boys need to Go play in their rooms”.
Her sharp response has quickly gone viral, with fans and followers reacting to the escalating drama between the two.
Huddah’s comments seem to dismiss the notion that she was ever romantically interested in Salasya, painting the MP’s claims as exaggerated.
Salasya had previously announced that he wanted to distance himself from socialites like Huddah to focus on finding a “wife material” partner, but it’s clear that Monroe is having none of it.
