Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, had earlier proclaimed his unwavering commitment to his faith.
In the post, he reflected, “I accepted Christ as my saviour at 14 years old.
The training, prayers, and vitamins kept me in the game, but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service, and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior, and so it is, even now brother, Amen!”
Speaking during an interview Hogan reminisced about his salvation, recounting the pivotal moment.
He shared, “Then I heard John 3:16: ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.’
Bam! It hit me.” Despite this early commitment, Hogan admitted to a period of deviation, attending church sporadically.
