Popular entrepreneur Akothee (real name Esther Akoth) has once again sent the internet into a frenzy with pregnancy remarks.
It all began on Saturday, December 23 when Akothee made it public that she would take a break from social media to rest and spend time with family.
“However, as life’s rollercoaster ride has taken its toll, I find myself feeling exhausted and worn out. The constant hustle has left me with little time to rest and recharge, and I’ve reached a point where I need to prioritize my well-being.
“With this in mind, I’ve decided to take a break and step away from all online platforms until the further notice .This time away will allow me to reenergize, reschedule, and recollect myself,” read part of her statement.
Akothee ‘returns’ to social media
A day later, Sunday, she posted a video of her son giving her elder sister Vesha Shaillan a hug.
“This boy is 14 years old. He has to bend to hug all of us,” Akothee captioned the reel.
Her fans were quick to react, wondering why she had reversed her decision and was back online.
‘This woman just said the other day that she was taking a break from social media, but her boring life won’t allow her do anything in silence,” Facebook user Elmer Elmago wrote.
“What about the break to be taken from social media any am happy for the boys growing,” another Facebook user Nekesa Mpole posed.
‘I am pregnant’
About two hours later, the mother of five wrote an astonishing message on Facebook in response to the queries.
“I am pregnant. So don’t mind my moods ,they behave like they want. Merry Christmas.”
The post garnered over 2,000 comments from fans who pressed her to divulge further details, others questioning her love life and others simply sending congratulatory messages.
“Congratulations for your pregnancy,” Catherine Keyaka wrote.
“Graduating from all sides…. Merry Christmas too,’ Eunice Gachuiga added.
“Merry Christmas to you pregnant boss,” Serevwa CJ wrote.
Akothee graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Mount Kenya University (MKU) on December 15.
