In a recent interview with Obinna, Kate Thuku a rising Kenyan TikTok star and content creator denied claims that she dated fellow content creator Babushka.
The speculation began when they were seen together on vocation and sharing flirty exchanges online.
“I will never say am dating Babushka, never said I was dating Babushka, maybe he was dating me but I never said I was dating Babushka. The pictures speculating was part of an advertising that we were doing for the hotel we were in,” Kate stated.
Kate dismissed the dating rumors, saying that she is single and does not understand why she is single because no one has approached her.
“I actually don’t Know why I am single, akuna mtu ameniapproach nikampea standard za juu, I don’t Know what I want, that’s the problem.”
Kate also mentioned she wouldn’t date a broke man, insisting that she would rather get married to a stable man.
“Honestly, I would not marry a broke man I am just telling the truth, Let him just be stable, there is a difference between broke, stable, rich, and wealthy. I would rather get married to a stable man, I am also not getting married to a potential.”
Kate also noted that despite facing cyberbullying and body shaming because of her physique, she has learned to embrace her appearance and confidently address criticism.
