Kenyan artist Stevo Simple Boy (real name Stephen Otieno) was over the moon after his wish to take his crush Betty Kyallo on a date finally came true.

Donning black sneakers and a pearl white three-piece suit, Stevo Simple Boy was all smiles as he walked into the restaurant alongside the renown media personality.

Kyallo maintained a simple look however- short black dress coupled with a blue denim jacket and matching heels.

Images shared online depicted them having a cheerful conversation gauging from Kyallo’s laughter and Stevo’s smile.

Taking to his social media pages, Stevo was elated to finally the gorgeous media personality.

“Kwa kweli roho yangu sasa iko welo welo. Nilipeleka crush wangu date. Mungu ni mwema sana nakupenda sana Betty Kyallo. Fikiria hiyo mambo yenye tumeongea leo. Nasuburia jibu!

(Trully my heart is well now. I finally took my crush on a date. God is good, I love you Betty Kyallo. Think about what we talked about today. I am waiting for an answer),” he added.

On her part, Betty Kyallo attacked critics who thought images of their date were altered.

“Wengine watasema ni photoshop was a nice afternoon sharing a meal with Stevo Simple Boy. Manze ameng’ang’ana sana. Apigiwe makofi tafadhali. Pia alipiga look mbaya! Keep rising Stevo.

Last week, Stevo Simple Boy cracked up netizens after declaring that he would settle down with Betty Kyallo should she give him a chance.

“Me, when I get Betty Kyallo and settle down… and she gives me three children, two boys, and one girl. God, you created all this yourself Now I ask you to bless me with it,” he wrote on Instagram.

This came days after Kyallo revealed the past few months had been on tough on her, without divulging much detail.

“I’ve gone through everything the last couple of months …. well I think just like everyone. It’s been extreme highs and extreme lows but I always tried to keep my head above the water…

“I’ve been thrown off balance and every other thing in between but today I’m happy. What I’ve learnt in the last couple of months is that you don’t have to figure everything out,” the mother of one explained.

Stevo Simple Boy went ahead to interpret the message as persistent heartbreaks from men, saying he would be her happiness.
