Nyandarua County Women Representative Faith Gitau disapproved of those opposed to her mode of operation, stating that she will not be deterred from helping Nyandarua residents due to political differences with a few individuals within the county.

Speaking in Ol Kalou town during a graduation ceremony that saw over 1500 women graduate with Catering and Hospitality certificates sponsored by the Office of the Women’s Representative, Gitau lashed out at her opponents regarding her current administration style, saying that it was already delivering on its promises.

Gitau added that she was determined to continue fighting for the rights of the common mwananchi to better their livelihoods without fear or intimidation.

Gitau has assured residents of the government’s commitment to supporting development projects in the county, which in turn will create employment for many youths.

She also stated that all stalled projects would be completed in due time, including roads and water projects that the Kenya Kwanza government had promised during the electioneering period.

Her sentiments were echoed by Irene Njoki, the Member of National Assembly from Bahati constituency.
