Popular Kenyan comedian and digital content creator Dem wa Facebook has opened up about her thoughts on body enhancement, making it clear that she has no desire to alter her natural figure.
Speaking during an interview with Dr. Ofweneke on TV47, she humorously dismissed the idea of undergoing cosmetic surgery, referencing socialite Vera Sidika, who previously enhanced and later reduced her body features.

Known for his humorous yet probing interview style, host Dr. Ofweneke playfully asked her, “You’ve never thought of enhancing your nyash like Vera?” referring to socialite Vera Sidika.
With her signature wit, Dem wa Facebook responded by saying, “the only thing I think of adding is my bank account, my bank account should be up and not my nyash because nyash gets old,” She responded.
She went on to joke about how some people call her 1GB, a slang term for someone who is slim, but she remains unbothered by the label.
“Despite being loved by many, there are those few who come at me with hateful comments, some claiming that I am 1 GB( slim), others saying that I am dark, but with all I really don’t care because the place I am aiming does not allow me to focus on such.” Dem Wa Facebook stated.
Her comments sparked laughter in the studio, with many applauding her confidence and embrace of natural beauty.
Despite societal pressures and the growing trend of body modifications, Dem wa Facebook affirmed that she is comfortable in her own skin and has no intention of changing her appearance.
Beyond her comedy career, Dem wa Facebook is using her platform for a meaningful cause.
She revealed that her latest initiative focuses on supporting underprivileged girls by providing them with sanitary pads.
She expressed concern over the struggles that many young girls face due to a lack of menstrual hygiene products.
“I visit places like Kibera and Dandora where girls have been raised in the ghetto.
I recently visited Kibera, and whenever I asked the ladies the major challenge they face, most of them said lack of sanitary pads.” She said.
“Growing up I also faced such challenges, and so I promised myself that when God blesses me, I will use my chance in the industry to support the girl child, I have started it and I will not stop. Most of my fans always ask me to buy them sanitary towels.” Dem wa Facebook added.
