Kenyan musician Willy Paul has dismissed rumors that he was romantically involved with dancer Ikoh Roz saying it was just a public relations stunt.
The speculation arose after the two were frequently seen collaborating on several dance videos, often featuring Willy Paul’s music.
Their interactions in the videos, which at times appeared quite intimate, fueled the rumors of a possible romantic relationship.
Additionally, Willy Paul had previously posted pictures and videos of Roz on his Instagram, sometimes with captions that hinted at more than just a professional relationship.
Despite this, Willy Paul has categorically denied any claims of a romantic connection with Roz.
He emphasized that their relationship is purely professional, revolving around their work in music and dance.
In an Instagram video, Willy Paul addressed the issue directly, stating that people often misinterpret situations, especially when two people are seen working closely together.
“Me and Ikoh have never dated, we have never dated, it was all just PR, kindly remove me from that circle.
She’s a very good friend of mine, a very good girl, very understanding but I think it’s good if y’all know we have never dated,” he said
