David Ndii, President William Ruto’s economic adviser, on Tuesday, June 25 shared what he said were his payslips online, in a bid to water down the debate that Kenya Kwanza Government is extravagant.
Ndii, taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, revealed that he received a salary of KSh666,364 from the government in May 2024.
On the second payslip, Ndii revealed that he earned KSh417,600 from his consulting services.
Ndii revealed this after a debate ensued online of how President Ruto’s Council of Economic Advisers received a total salary of KSh1.1 billion.
