Renown actress Kate Actress (real name Catherine Kamau) has disclosed that she was not affected much by her breakup with Phil.
Kate Actress and Philip Karanja alias Phil went public about their separation in September last year through a joint statement.
“We came to a conclusion to end our marriage a long while ago and separated. We sincerely request everyone to honour our wishes for privacy for us and our children. Signed Kate and Phil,” read the statement.
Phil took to his Instagram stories to clarify that they had still business partnerships that would see them continue working together despite their divorce.
“Hii ni Mambo ya watu wawili, but allow us to add you to the group chat kidogo, so we can proceed with our lives bila story mob. Kate and I remain as friends, co-parenting and business partners,” he wrote.
Kate Actress who for the most part remained mum on the matter, now says she dealt fairly well with the breakup.
She was speaking on TV47’s Dr Ofweneke Tonight which airs every Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 9pm.

The host, Dr Ofweneke, delved into the matter subtly by asking Kate Actress whether she cries to which she responded hilariously.
“I only cry when I lose money,” the mother of two said, chuckling.
On her breakup with Phil, Kate Actress divulged that she did not cry over it.
“In this situation with Phil I did not cry. I was prepared. Of course it is a process for everybody but when you’re older you handle things better. I am very happy now,” she explained.
Kate Actress introduced her new man, Michael Mwangi, towards the end of last year, sending the internet into a frenzy.
After a baecation at the beginning of the year, the actress revealed she will be making a comeback into the acting scene in an upcoming continental series.
