Persons with disabilities have a reason to smile after a Kenyan Owned European Business Institute of Luxenberg offered a program of scholarships to enable them access education and link them to job opportunities.
The program dubbed EBU hardship scholarship program is being implemented in partnership with Limitless Solutions Global, a leading solutions provider in the fields of Education, Employment and Business aimed at connecting Africa to the world.
Dr James Mulli, the president of EBU said as an institution they were happy to be part of the disability inclusion journey for learners across Africa and beyond.
“We look forward to enhancing the learning tools and resources made available, to encourage more differently-abled learners to pursue their globally accredited certificate,” said Mulli.

Already, he said together with the CEO of Limitless Solutions Global Dr Marble Daniel, they have offered scholarships to three blind students who were enrolled in their pilot phase in the second term winter semester.
Further to the initial collaboration, the EBU President said they are working with Dr. Marble to issue scholarships to 25 persons with disabilities during the upcoming Summer Term III semester, under EBU’s Hardship Scholarship Program.
“EBU has existing learning structures that accommodate diverse learning needs, offering resources in multiple formats, including audio. To further enhance accessibility, we are collaborating with our partner, LSG, to improve the usability of our learning platform. This partnership strengthens our mission to make education accessible, affordable, and equitable,” said Mulli.
He said EBU was committed to making their platform more accessible by ensuring all images include alternative text, using inclusive language, and providing captions for all videos and webinar recordings.
“Additionally, we will gather feedback from our three pilot blind students to ensure our solutions are both practical and functional,” he said.
Mulli said students will have the opportunity to connect with differently abled learners from around the world through course discussion forums, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning community.
He said through their partnerships; their aim is to provide students with career support by linking them to job opportunities.
“EBU is also actively seeking collaborations with organizations that support individuals with physical challenges, further reinforcing our commitment to inclusive education,” he said.
Dr. Marble, the CEO of Limitless Solutions Global, is also the Protocols and Relations Director in the Office of the Commonwealth Disability Ambassador to Africa and to the Africa Union.
She is currently in charge of Disability Inclusion in Africa under the Commonwealth and has championed Disability Inclusion as a key component of EBU Scholarships
EBU has enrolled over 24,000 students globally in their certificate and degree impact programs, out of which 8900 are from Kenya.
