IOC and TCL announce landmark global partnership through 2032

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has unveiled a long-term partnership with global technology giant TCL, solidifying the company as a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner through to 2032.

This strategic alliance will see TCL play a pivotal role in enhancing the Olympic and Paralympic experience through innovative audiovisual and home appliance solutions.

New era of Olympic innovation

As part of this partnership, TCL will supply cutting-edge digital displays for Olympic venues and household appliances for the Olympic Village, ensuring top-tier experiences for both fans and athletes.

The collaboration also extends to innovative marketing campaigns designed to bring the magic of the Olympic Games to billions of fans worldwide.

Furthermore, TCL will contribute to the IOC’s Olympic AI Agenda, supporting digital enhancements for both in-venue and home audiences.

A key aspect of this initiative is the “Athlete Moments” program, which allows athletes to connect with loved ones immediately after competing.

Strengthening Olympic funding and development

The agreement ensures that revenue generated from the partnership will be redistributed by the IOC to support sports organizations globally.

This includes financial backing for National Olympic Committees, Olympic Games organizing committees, and Youth Olympic Games development initiatives through 2032.

At the official announcement in Beijing’s iconic “Water Cube” (Beijing 2008) / “Ice Cube” (Beijing 2022), IOC President Thomas Bach expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.

He praised TCL’s commitment to sports and its ambition to inspire excellence on the world’s biggest sporting stage.

TCL’s commitment to the Olympic spirit

TCL Founder and Chairman Li Dongsheng emphasized the company’s alignment with the Olympic values.

Highlighting its long-standing dedication to innovation and sports sponsorship.

He reaffirmed TCL’s commitment to using its technological advancements to enhance the Olympic experience while supporting sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.

Over the years, TCL has actively supported sports through numerous global partnerships.

During the games, the company will provide a range of intelligent products, including smart displays, audio systems, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and TCL RayNeo smart glasses.
