Oscar-winning actor Jodie Foster has shared her thoughts on working with Generation Z.
She admitted that they can be “really annoying” at times.
The 61-year-old, who began her career as a child star, expressed difficulty understanding the work attitudes she sometimes encountered.
“They’re like, ‘Nah, I’m not feeling it today, I’m gonna come in at 10.30 am,'” Foster humorously remarked about Gen Z’s approach to work.

Foster emphasized her commitment to guiding young actors, citing her own challenging experiences growing up in the industry.
Reflecting on Gen Z’s unique traits, she playfully joked about their casual work habits, saying,
“They’re really annoying – especially in the workplace.”
While critical of some Gen Z habits, Foster acknowledged her ability to assist them in finding their unique paths in the industry.
She advised young actors to learn how to relax and not overthink, emphasizing the joy of discovering an authentic self amid pressure.
In her praise for Bella Ramsey, Foster highlighted the importance of diverse expressions of femininity.

Recounting an event where Ramsey stood out in a tailored suit and no makeup.
Foster, potentially in line for another Oscar nomination for her role in Nyad, also discussed her two sons and their evolving feminist perspectives.
