Hassan Joho has been ranked the top performing Cabinet Secretary (CS) in the country, according to the latest survey by Kenyatrack.
The Mining and Blue Economy CS was given an approval rating of 84.7% in the survey conducted between 5th – 25th November 2024.
Among the aspects that endeared CS Joho to the 10,107 respondents approached in the study include; enhancing logistical support and operational capabilities, advancing on field reforms and human skills capacity, and transforming livelihoods of fisher-folk communities at the
grassroots.
Other projects that ranked Joho highly include; crack down on illegal mining activities, paying loyalties to communities and also revenue generating, and advocacy on miners to form cooperatives for mutual benefit.
Tourism and Wildlife CS Rebecca’s Miano was ranked second in the study, with an approval rating of 82.7%.
Agriculture and Livestock Development Andrew Mwihia, Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi, and Lands CS Alice Wahome concluded the top 5 most performing CSs, with 80.9%, 79.5%, and 79.0% approval ratings respectively.
