Kenyan legendary artiste Lenson Njuki popularly known as Mr Lenny has revealed that he and Nameless have never been a duo.
The ‘Juju’ hit maker says that he only collaborated one song with Nameless back in the days and that they had a good relationship ever since.
Mr Lenny was live on TV47 during the Dr Ofweneke show on Wednesday 13th March 2024, where he disclosed his music journey career.
“I used to visit Nameless in his home at South B when he was coming up with an album and I began hamming to an instrumental leading it to the song Juju,” he said.
He recalls the tours that he took with Namelss in Kenya and Internationally.
“Tumesonga na Nameless many places mpaka watu wakafikiria we are in a group.”
“Let me give Nameless his flowers, he took me as his small brother and took me on a musical tour with him after our collabo,” Lenny added.
Mr Lenny’s musical journey
The King of Collabos was signed at Ogopa Deejays and had collaborated with many artistes including the late Esir and Kunguru.
Mr Lenny released his first song ‘Daddy has to know’ in 2003 ft Mr Pepper.
He says that the first time his song played on Radio was at Capital FM a time that many stations did not play local Kenyan music.
