Kabras to Visit Nakuru as Kenya Cup Enters Sixth Round This Weekend

The 2024/2025 Kenya Cup season enters its sixth matchday this Saturday, January 25, 2025, with six matches scheduled across various venues nationwide.

Log leaders Kabras Sugar Rugby will travel to Nakuru to face two-time Kenya Cup champions Nakuru RFC in a match set to take place at the Nakuru Athletics Club, starting at 4:00 PM. Kabras aims to extend their impressive season, having won all their matches so far and are top of the standings with 25 points with a remarkable point differential of +312.

Nakuru RFC on their side will be looking to end their dismal run after suffering a fifth consecutive defeat at the hands of KCB last weekend, which left them stranded in 11th place.

Coast-based South Coast Pirates, who finally broke their winless streak with an 18-8 victory over Strathmore Leos last weekend, will travel to Nairobi to take on bottom-placed Mwamba. This match is set to kick off at 2:00 PM at the Ngong Race Course.

In other fixtures, varsity side Blak Blad will face KCB Rugby at Kenyatta University grounds at 4:00 PM, while Strathmore Leos will go up against Kisumu RFC. Nondescripts are set to compete against Mwamba RFC at the Ngong Race Course at 4:00 PM.

Kenya Harlequins, who experienced their first setback of the campaign with a narrow 26-24 loss to Nondescripts last weekend, will welcome Menengai Oilers at RFUEA grounds at 4:00 PM. Oilers currently sit third in the standings with 25 points, while Harlequins are in fifth place with 21 points.
