Wiper Democratic Leader Kalonzo Musyoka hosted a number of his political allies at his home in Maanzoni, Machakos County during his son’s wedding.
Kevin Muasya, son to Musyoka, officiated his relationship with Sharon Nthoki in an elegant traditional wedding at their parent’s home.
Nthoki is currently the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Trade, Tourism, Industry and Innovation in Machakos County.
The beautiful ceremony was attended by high profile politicians including; Azimio leader Raila Odinga, DAP Leader Eugene Wamalwa, Jubilee Party Sec Gen Jeremiah Kioni, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti among others.
Odinga congratulated the new couple in a social media post saying:
“A happy afternoon in Machakos County at the traditional wedding of Hon. Sharon Nthoki and Kelvin Muasya son to my brother Kalonzo Musyoka in Maanzoni. Congrats to the couple; may bliss accompany them in this journey together.”
Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, who is Nthoki’s boss, also sent out a congratulatory message to the couple.
“You are such a wonderful couple and I pray that your love story will continue to thrive to infinity and beyond. “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” –Romans 12:10. Congratulations and may the good Lord light your path with unlimited blessings in the days ahead!” she wrote.
On his part, Kalonzo Musyoka lauded his son for finding his ‘rib’ and officiating their union in the presence of family and friends.
“Today, my son Muasya married his ‘rib’ and God’s appointed helper, Nthoki. Thank you for allowing us to partake in your wonderful day and may your love grow stronger with every passing year,” he wrote.
He went on to appreciate his political allies including Raila Odinga who graced the occasion.
“To our family and friends, your presence was invaluable.”
Musyoka also lauded various county officials, members of Parliament and other local leaders who graced the invite. Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr was also in attendance.
