A team of detectives has launched investigations following the death of a man along Thika Road, Nairobi.
Police officers found the body of the deceased lying in his car. The deceased was later identified as Vitalis Matinde Chacha aged 42 years.
The man was reportedly found dead behind in the back seat. A team of detectives probing his mysterious death is yet to give the cause of his demise.
Local authorities say that the car, a Toyota Mark X that belonged to the deceased, was parked at Kastermill Area in Kasarani on Saturday night.
According to one of the police officers, the car was locked from inside. The officers then swung into action by breaking into the vehicle for a search inside.
Among the valuables found were an identification card and personal documents. The body of the man was moved to the mortuary awaiting autopsy.
