Residents of Kasarani estate, Nairobi County woke up to a shocking incident on Saturday morning after a woman was thrown off an apartment.
The alleged young woman was thrown off the tenth floor of a short-stay apartment in Kasarani estate.
Locals who witnessed the horrifying incident stated that they heard commotions moments before they saw her body falling to the ground floor.
Noises were heard in the wee hours of Saturday from the apartment located near Safari Brooks Academy in Thome.
Police alongside the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) were alerted to the scene where ther transferred the body.
They cordoned off the areas as locals flocked the residence gate to see the body of the deceased.
Investigations have kicked off to establish the identity of the woman as well as circumstances around the shocking incident.
This comes amid a debate on cases of femicide in the country surging particularly in private residences, popularly known as Airbnb’s.
