Following his Grammy win a week ago, Kendrick Lamar delivered an electrifying performance at the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, making history as the first solo hip-hop headliner.
He delivered a mix of his previous and new hit songs keeping the crowd on edge.
The show opened with a surprise cameo from Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson, dressed as “Uncle Sam,” adding a dramatic touch.
Lamar kicked off with hit songs such as “Squabble Up,” “Humble” and “DNA,” just to name a few.
The energy peaked with “Not Like Us,” the critically acclaimed Drake diss track fans were heard massively cheering on to.
On a separate stage, renowned tennis player Serena Williams was seen briefly dancing to the song, further hyping up the crowd.
Lamar’s dancers, dressed in red, white, and blue, moved in sync, embodying the American flag as their choreography blended culture, politics, and performance art.
SZA later joined for a soulful moment, performing “Luther” and “All the Stars,” adding an emotional touch.
In just 13 minutes, Lamar delivered an unforgettable show, proving why he’s one of the greatest performers of his generation.
