The Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) has officially unveiled the ticket prices for the highly anticipated Road to BAL Elite 16 competition, set to take place at Nyayo Gymnasium and the newly renovated Kasarani Sports Stadium.
The event, which runs from November 28 to December 2, 2024, promises to deliver some of the best basketball action in Africa as teams battle for a spot in the prestigious Basketball Africa League (BAL) competition scheduled to begin next year.
Nairobi was selected as the next best location to hold this prestigious competition after South Africa and Rwanda withdrew, leaving Kenya to take over as the host nation.
The Road to BAL Elite 16, one of the most thrilling stages of the BAL adventure, will include the top players on the continent and is anticipated to provide an exciting experience for Kenyan basketball fans.
Ticket Prices:
KBF has announced a range of ticket prices for the event, making it accessible to a wide range of fans. The prices include:
- Outside seating: Ksh 350
- Indoor seating: Regular: Ksh1000.
- VIP Tickets: Ksh 2000.

Nairobi City Thunder’s chance to represent Kenya
Local supporters have a chance to cheer on Nairobi City Thunder as they attempt to earn a spot in the elite BAL competition through the Road to BAL Elite 16.
“Since 1st September, we’ve been having a training camp, and everybody has been looking good, coming in with good energy, and I think we have a chance… We are ready for the other guys who are coming to compete in Kenya,” said Thunder forward Tyler Ongwae.
