Kenya Cup: KCB overpowers Kisumu RFC to bag second win of the season

The 2024/2025 Kenya cup season entered its matchday two on Saturday November 30, 2024 with exciting action witnessed across different venues countrywide.

KCB RFC continued with their fine run of the season, crushing Kisumu RFC 82-0 echoing their dominance from the season opener when they beat South coast Pirates 88-05.

South Coast Pirates fell to reigning champions Kabras RFC, who sailed to a 45-3 triumph while Kenya Harlequins extended their  winning streak by defeating Nakuru RFC 17-0 at the challenging Suguta Valley.

Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad RFC also joined the day’s victors, convincingly dispatching Impala 23-00.

In a thrilling showdown Nondescripts edged out Mwamba RFC 18-9 whereas Menengai Oilers dominated Strathmore Leos, cruising to a 38-08 triumph.

The KRU Championship entered its matchday three where former Kenya Cup side Homeboyz RFC made a resounding statement by demolishing USIU Martials 47-0. Daystar Falcons and MMUST secured crucial bonus points, trouncing Mombasa SC 30-0 and overcoming UoE Trojans 30-5, respectively.

JKUAT faced a baptism of fire on their first away tour, with 16-3 to the Western Bulls while Catholic Monks beat Mean Machine 24-03. TUM Marines managed a 20-06 victory over Zetech Oaks.
