Reigning champions Kabras RFC continued their impressive form, extending their winning streak to five matches with a commanding 73-0 victory over Mwamba RFC at the ASK Showground in Kakamega.
At the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka, KCB Rugby handed Nakuru RFC their fifth consecutive defeat, winning decisively with a score of 34-5. Meanwhile, Kenya Harlequins suffered a narrow loss to Nondescripts RFC, falling 26-24 in a closely contested match.
Newcomers South Coast Pirates celebrated their first win of the season and their inaugural victory in the top-tier league by defeating the Varsity side Strathmore Leos 18-8 at the Seacrest Grounds in Diani, Kwale County. Impala RFC also secured a hard-fought victory, edging out Kisumu RFC 17-12 in another tight encounter.
Menengai Oilers recorded a resounding win, overpowering KU Blak Blad with a score of 57-15.
In the KRU Championship, matchday six saw Mean Machine extend their winning streak to two matches by defeating USIU Martials 29-12. Daystar Falcons maintained their perfect record with a 37-22 victory over TUM Marines.
In a thrilling Kakamega derby, Masinde Muliro University narrowly triumphed over Western Bulls with a score of 10-9. Former Kenya Cup champions Homeboyz faced a tough challenge, suffering a 44-31 defeat to JKUAT Cougars. Other results included CUEA Monks defeating Mombasa RFC 22-5 and Zetech Oaks overcoming UOE Trojans 27-3.
