Kabras RFC narrowly defeated Menengai Oilers 20-14 in a hard-fought encounter at Nakuru ASK Grounds on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The defending champions had to work hard to beat a tough Oilers team in a game that showed how intense the Kenya Cup can be.
The game started with Menengai Oilers scoring first when Samuel Mwaura got a try, putting them ahead 5-0. Timothy Omela then kicked a penalty to increase their lead to 8-0. Kabras RFC responded with a penalty kick from Ntabeni Dukisa, making the score 8-3.

Just before halftime, Kabras scored another penalty, ending the first half with Menengai Oilers leading 14-13.
