Kenya Hosts Golf Rules School Level 2 at Muthaiga Golf Club, Nairobi

The prestigious Muthaiga Golf Club in Nairobi, Kenya, is hosting the Golf Rules School Level 2, a three-day advanced training program organized by the Kenya Golf Union (KGU) in collaboration with the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A).

Building on the foundational Level 1 training, this program is designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the Rules of Golf, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the game with confidence and fairness.

This year’s event has drawn 39 participants from Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Cameroon, showcasing the program’s regional appeal. The training includes theory and practical sessions covering key topics such as:

  • Ball at Rest and in Motion
  • Relief Situations
  • Penalties and Rule Enforcement
  • Common Scenarios on the Course
