Kenya Police Bullets, the reigning undefeated champions of the 2023/24 FKF Women Premier League, are set to represent Kenya in the fourth edition of the CECAFA Women’s Champions League Qualifiers. The tournament will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from August 17 to September 4, 2024.
The team departed for Addis Ababa on August 14, 2024, ready to kick off their campaign on August 18 with a match against Warrior Queens at 1 p.m. local time at the Addis Ababa Stadium. This opening match is crucial in setting the tone for their performance in the tournament.
Their tournament journey continues with a match against Yei Joint Stars on August 19 at 4 p.m., followed by a clash with CBE Women FC on August 21 at 3 p.m. The group stage will conclude with a game against Rayon Sports WFC on August 25 at 3 p.m.
If the Kenya Police Bullets advance beyond the group stage, they will compete in the semi-finals on August 28. The tournament will conclude on August 31 with both the final and the third-place playoff.
This tournament serves as a qualifier for the CAF Women’s Champions League, making every match critical for the team’s ambitions on the continental stage.
