Kenya Power has announced that several areas across the country will experience power outages today (Thursday, July 18).
According to the power utility company, the outages has been occasioned by scheduled maintenance, with five counties to be affected.
The power interruptions will take place at diverse times between 9am and 5 pm.
In Nairobi region for instance, residents of Dandora area (Part of Komarock Rd, Sakina Petrol Stn, Councilor Opundo Rd, Dandora Phase 5, Ushirika Pri, Kinyago Pri, Gitari Marigu & adjacent customers) will be affected.
In Kiambu County, the following areas will experience power interruptions; Guango, Nguruwe, Little Sisters, Guango, Clifftop, Kigwaru Inn, Royal Brains, Ruaka S/Centre, Slaughter, Kanungu & adjacent customers.
In Busia County, Akichelesit, Kakapel, Angurai Mkt, Katakwa, Aboloi, Kamunyele, Rwatama, Kakurikit, Kasinge, Adanya, Katoitoi Pri & adjacent customers will be affected.
In Mombasa, Tewa High School, Mama Ngina Girls High School, Flamingo Hotel, Prison Staff Quarters & adjacent customers will not have power today between the aforementioned times.
In Kilifi, the areas affected are; Kiwandani Dispensary, NCPB, Mkoroshoni, Msufini, Koroshoni, Pwani University, Fumbini, Konjora, Cashewnuts & adjacent customers.
