Kenya Power has announced areas that will experience power blackout today (Tuesday, April 30).
In a public notice, the power utility company says the interruptions will be experienced from 9 am to 5 pm.
The counties that will be affected by these power interruptions include; Nairobi, Kiambu, Makueni, Busia, Kisii, Homa Bay, Nyeri and Laikipia.
Nairobi
In Nairobi County, areas that will be affected are; Zimmerman East, Wankan, Kwa Masai, Zebra House, Family Access, St. Anthony School and adjacent customers. Mathare 3 and 4, KSMS, De La Rue Complex, GSU, NYS Engineering, ABSA Bank Ruaraka and adjacent customers will also be affected.
Other parts of Nairobi that will be affected are; Gusii Ave, Siaya Road, Siaya Close, Gatundu Road, Tinderet Avenue, Gichugu Road, Mandera Road, Gem Lane, Kenya High School, Kileleshwa Police Station, Dik-Dik Gardens, Olekejuado Road, Kandara Road, Mandera Lane, National Housing Cooperation, Moon Valley Apartments, Gatundu Close and adjacent customers.
Old Donholm, New Donholm, Donholm Total Petrol Stn, Donholm Equity Bank, Donholm Coop Bank, Sunrise East, Greenfield East, Savannah East and adjacent customers will also have power interruption.
