Kenya Prisons bounced back in the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Kenya Cup with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Trailblazers at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. The straight-sets triumph (25-20, 26-24, 25-17) marked Prisons’ first win in the tournament after earlier defeats to KAPU and KDF.

Trailblazers, who had started the competition strongly with wins against Chema VC and KAPU, suffered their first loss of the campaign. The match saw Prisons dominate in key moments, especially in the second set, where they edged Trailblazers in a closely contested battle.

Kenya Prisons will conclude their group stage fixtures on Sunday at 9 AM against Chema VC, while Trailblazers are set for a showdown with KDF at 3 PM as they aim to return to winning ways.

Chema Volleyball Triumphs in Five-Set Thriller Against Kapu

In another electrifying Pool B encounter, Chema Volleyball secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Kapu in a thrilling five-set battle. The final scoreline read 25-20, 18-25, 25-18, 22-25, 15-13, highlighting the closely contested nature of the clash.

The decisive fifth set was an intense spectacle, with Kapu taking an early 8-5 lead at the side change. However, Chema fought back to level the scores at 10-10, setting the stage for a dramatic finish. The lead kept changing hands, but Chema held their nerve, sealing the set 15-13 and clinching the match.
