Former champions Kenya Prisons showcased their dominance with a commanding 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-20) victory over a resilient Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) side during the fourth leg of the KVF Women’s National League at Nyayo National Stadium Gymnasium on Thursday.
Kenya Prisons Outclass KDF
KDF struggled to settle into the match, falling behind early in the opening set and ultimately losing 25-14. However, they regrouped in the second and third sets, putting up a spirited fight.
Despite their improved performance, costly errors at crucial moments allowed Prisons to capitalize, closing out the sets at 25-22 and 25-20 to seal a straight-sets victory.

Pipeline Earn Walkover Win
In another scheduled fixture, Kenya Pipeline, fresh from their participation in the CAVB Zone V Clubs Championship in Uganda, secured a walkover victory after their opponents, Maranatha, failed to show up.

Earlier on Post Bank Women’s Volleyball Team continued their impressive run in the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Women’s National League, securing their fourth win of the season with a dominant 3-0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-9) victory over Young Spykers.
The match, played on Thursday at the Nyayo National Stadium outdoor court in Nairobi, saw the bankers display superior skill and control throughout the encounter.
