The Kenya Simba rugby team is gearing up for the 2024 Elgon Cup, which will take place in Kampala, Uganda, on 2nd November 2024. Star player Jone Kubu returns to the squad after missing the 2024 Rugby Africa Cup, adding depth to a team that already boasts a strong combination of talent from various clubs.
Head Coach Jerome Paarwater has largely retained the squad that was active during preparations for the Rugby Africa Cup. However, the squad will be missing Bryceson Adaka, who is sidelined due to an injury sustained a few months ago. Additionally, following the recent changes in World Rugby’s Regulation 8—which focuses on national team eligibility—Ntabeni Dukisa is now eligible to represent Kenya.
