Tennis Kenya will host the prestigious Billie Jean King Cup Africa Group III for the third time.
The tournament, featuring 12 nations including Botswana, Burundi, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, will take place at the Nairobi Club, Upper Hill during the week commencing 10th June 2024.
The ITF/Billie Jean King Cup Committee appointed Tennis Kenya to host the event after a competitive bidding process.
The committee expressed confidence that Tennis Kenya’s team would stage an excellent event and provide players and visitors with a world-class experience.
“Tennis Kenya is thrilled to host the Billie Jean King Cup Africa Group III event. This is a great opportunity to showcase our country’s hospitality and tourism potential for the sport of tennis. We are confident that we will deliver a successful tournament and provide players and fans with a memorable experience.”
Kenya previously hosted the Billie Jean King Cup in 1995 when it was still known as the Fed Cup and last year in June.

The Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge is one of the most prestigious international tennis tournaments, and the Africa Group III event will feature some of the best women’s tennis teams in Africa.
