Harambee Stars is set to face Zimbabwe in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers at Namboole Stadium in Uganda, owing to the unavailability of a CAF-certified facility in Kenya.
CAF has also announced the match officials for the upcoming fixture, scheduled to take place next week. The game will be officiated by a team of Senegalese referees, with Diouf Adalbert as the center referee.
He will be supported by Amadou Ngom as the first assistant referee and Mamadou Ngoma as the second assistant referee. Aliuone Sow has been appointed as the reserve referee.
Uganda’s Mike Letti will serve as the match commissioner, while Algeria’s Djamel Haimoudi will assess the referees’ performance.
This match marks the first time Harambee Stars will host a competitive fixture outside Kenya since 2021. Currently, both Kasarani Stadium and Nyayo Stadium are undergoing renovations, leaving Kenya without a CAF-approved venue.
