Kenyans who use Multichoice (GoTV and DSTV) services will be forced to dig deeper into their pockets after the company announced new increased prices for its packages.
In a statement dated 20th March 2024, Multichoice said it was reviewing some of its subscription prices upwards effective 1st April, 2024.
In its statement, the company cited the prevailing economic outlook as reason for increasing subscription prices.
New DSTV package prices
Lite KSh700, Access (remains the same) KSh1,300, Family KSh2,000, Compact KSh3,700, Compact Plus KSh6,500, Premium KSh10,500 and XtraView KSh1,500 per month.
These new prices translate to an increase of KSh50 for Lite subscribers, KSh150 for Family subscribers, KSh200 for Compact subscribers, KSh300 for Compact Plus subscribers and KSh600 for Premium subscribers.
New GoTV prices
The prices for GoTV have been reviewed to; Lite KSh220, Value KSh669, Plus (remains the same) KSh999, Max KSh1499, Supa KSh1999 and Supa Plus KSh3700 per month.
