Kenya will be fielding a men’s floorball team at the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games, set to take place in Turin, Italy.
Team Composition and Training
The Kenyan squad consists of eight players and two technical bench members, who have been intensifying their preparations by training at the University of Nairobi grounds.
Special Olympics Kenya (SOK) was granted the slot through the Special Olympics International Quota Allocation Rules.

Team Kenya floorball coach Linet Lekanayla expressed her excitement and sense of responsibility in leading the team on the global stage.

The weeklong Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 kicks off on March 8, and excitement is building among the athletes and coaches.
This marks the first time Coach Lekanayla is leading a national floorball team at such a prestigious event, adding to the anticipation.

The team is set to depart next Thursday, ready to represent Kenya on the international stage with pride and determination.
