KTTA President Andrew Mudibo welcomed the appointments, saying they were a great recognition of Kenya’s contribution to the sport.

“It’s an honor for two Kenyans to be recognized for their good work at the national level. On behalf of KTTA, I congratulate them and wish them well in their endeavors,” said Mudibo.

ITTF Africa also firmed up other committees and commissions, including Para Table Tennis and Media. The Media Committee will now be headed by Egyptian Fahmy Amr, with Cameroonian Ngo Mboock Virgine serving as deputy.
