This December 1st, as part of World AIDS Day commemorations, the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) will host a special marathon at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi. With the theme “Collective Action: Sustain and Accelerate HIV Progress,” the event aims to bring together Kenyans from all walks of life to join in the fight against HIV/AIDS and address Kenya’s pressing “Triple Threat”—new HIV infections, teenage pregnancies, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) among adolescent girls and young women.
Why a Marathon? Uniting Kenyans in the Fight Against HIV
