According to Forbes, he reigns as the most influential creator, captivating audiences worldwide without uttering a single word.

As of June 2022, Khaby Lame’s earnings are estimated at a staggering $16.5 million (Sh2.4 billion).

Forbes attributes this remarkable success to his lucrative endorsements, a trajectory that began with his initial breakthrough.

Astoundingly, Lame discloses that each post he shares on his TikTok and Instagram accounts fetches him a jaw-dropping $750,000 (Sh110,000,000).

His roster of collaborations includes renowned names such as Hugo Boss, Binance, QNB (Middle Eastern bank), and even Fortnite, to name a few.

What sets him apart, however, is his unwavering commitment to family-friendly content.

Lame insists that brands align with his values, refusing partnerships with alcohol, cigarettes, or any harmful products. “I turn down most requests.

I want to work clean. I’ve never worked with an alcohol company, cigarettes or anything that’s bad for you because a lot of kids follow me,” he emphasized.

Khaby Lame ascended to stardom during the COVID-19 pandemic by playfully imitating and poking fun at others while simplifying everyday tasks.

Today, he boasts 2.4 million likes and an astounding 160 million followers on TikTok.

Even in the face of early skepticism, Lame remained committed to his passion for creating content.

“When I started making videos, people told me to get a proper job. But I continued to make videos because that’s what I like doing, even though no one was watching them,” he shared with Forbes.

Forbes conducted an extensive analysis, examining earnings, follower counts, engagement rates, and entrepreneurial endeavors of numerous internet personalities.

With assistance from creator marketing agency Influential, Khaby Lame emerged as the foremost influencer.

“Forbes’ 50 leading creators, between June 2022 and June 2023, harnessed their collective 2.6 billion social media followers to amass an estimated $700 million in earnings—a remarkable 23% increase from 2022’s $570 million,” Forbes reported.

In the grand scheme of creation, Khaby Lame secured the 11th spot on Forbes’ list, with the coveted top creator title claimed by the remarkable Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast.
