National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah’s words thundered through the air like a hurricane as he vehemently dismissed the sinister claims that the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) had received a staggering Sh. 106 Million from the government.

On a fateful Monday, October 2nd, Ichung’wah took a stand, his voice resolute and unwavering as he revealed the stark truth.

He declared that a benevolent figure from civil society, an enigmatic well-wisher, was the true benefactor behind NADCO’s operations.

The Kikuyu MP unveiled the secret, disclosing that this nameless guardian had shouldered the immense burden of financing the committee.

With a flourish of his words, Ichung’wah laid bare the well-wisher’s generous contributions – a benevolence that extended to covering the grandeur of the conference facilities at the illustrious Bomas of Kenya and providing nourishing sustenance to the committee members.

“I saw the media accusing this committee of gobbling up a hundred million shillings, and I heard someone over the weekend saying we are sipping expensive tea and champagne.”

“Unfortunately, we have no facilities; we are yet to get a shilling.

“We are here courtesy of a well-wisher, one of our civil society organizations that has been meeting the conferencing facility costs, including our teas and night meals when we have a long day,” Ichung’wah declared.

His impassioned speech echoed throughout the corridors of power, a defiant response to the ominous media report that had cast a shadow over NADCO.

The report had insinuated that this coalition of Azimio and Kenya Kwanza leaders had, indeed, received a colossal sum of Sh. 106 Million.

Of this staggering figure, a purported Ksh 10 million was earmarked for the enigmatic task of “document translation,” while an astounding Ksh 15,000,000 was purportedly allocated for the publication of a mere 1,000 copies of materials.

Further fueling the intrigue, the report claimed that Kiamani Ichung’wah, alongside Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, were entitled to the princely sum of Ksh 50,000 in allowances for every sitting.

As the tempestuous drama of these revelations unfolded, the nation watched with bated breath, awaiting further twists and turns in this enigmatic saga of political intrigue and financial mysteries.
