Koyonzo High School win Prescott Cup Western region

Koyonzo High School are the 2024 Western Region Prescott Cup champions after retaining the tittle in a two day competition that was played at the ASK Kakamega showground on 5th and 6th October 2024.

Koyonzo managed to bag victory in all their matches where they began day one with a 22-00 win over Senende before handing Kakamega High School a 10-3 defeat.

They extended the fine run on day two where they were awarded a 28-00 walkover against Chavakali High School and managed a 7-3 win over Vihiga High School to retain the title they had won in 2023.

Last year’s Presscot cup finalists Vihiga High School finished second after losing to Koyonzo on day two despite having an impressive  day one where they beat Chavakali 31-00 and Senende 19-3.

Kakamega High School finished third after recording two wins from the four matches they played.

Koyonzo High School will join  their counterparts from other regions at the national championships in Nairobi.
