The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its portal for the first revision of applicants’ choices.

This will allow students who applied for placement to universities, TVET institutions, Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs), and the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) to choose the courses afresh, basing on their qualifications.

KUCCPS opened the portal on Monday March 18, 2024, allowing revision of courses to continue until April 4. 

Opening of the portal gives chance for applicants to adjust their preferences on tertiary institutions and courses.

Therefore, form four leavers from 2000 to 2023 who scored C+ and above, can use the window period to make changes on their initial application for degree programs. 

In addition, KUCCPS directed students who submitted their applications during the February/March 2024 duration to log into the portal and confirm the status of their applications.

The applications portal was first opened on February 8, 2024 for students to select their colleges and universities of choice. 

However, most students experienced challenges in applying for the courses on the portal, leading to KUCCPS extending applications deadline twice.
