KUCCPS Board Chairman, Cyrus Gituai, reassured that every eligible learner will secure a placement without being hindered by capacity constraints.

“The total available capacity for training declared by Universities and Colleges was 1,078,806, which by far exceeds the total number of students who did KCSE last year,” he highlighted,

Gituai underscored KUCCPS’s commitment to placing KCSE finalists in universities and colleges based on merit and their preferences while upholding principles of fairness and equity.

This process plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic future of these students and aligning them with their desired educational paths.

According to the report released by KUCCPS’s CEO Agnes Wahome, the Bachelor of Education program garnered the highest number of applicants, indicating a strong interest in this field.

Male candidates predominantly secured placements in degree programs, maintaining a consistent trend observed since the inception of the central placement system.

Conversely, female students constituted the majority of placements in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, a trend observed from the 2020/2021 cycle to the present.
