The Trailblazers started on a high note, taking the first set 25-12 with sheer dominance. KFS responded fiercely, narrowly edging out their opponents 25-23 in the second set to level the match.
However, the Trailblazers regained control, sealing the third set 25-16 before closing the contest with a hard-fought 25-23 win in the fourth set.
A standout moment came in the third set, when Juliad Mbape delivered a powerful spike, boosting the Trailblazers’ momentum and paving the way for their triumph.
Meanwhile Former champions GSU displayed resilience and determination as they overcame a spirited NYS side, securing a hard-fought 3-1 victory in an intense KVF Men’s League encounter.

Led by Coach Tarus, GSU faced a formidable challenge from NYS, particularly from their star player Kipruto (Jersey No. 12), who proved to be a relentless force on the court. The victory significantly boosts GSU’s chances of finishing at the top of the league standings, reinforcing their championship aspirations.
“We knew this was going to be a tough match, and our players showed incredible grit to secure the win. It was a collective effort, and I’m proud of the way we handled the challenge,” said Coach Tarus in a post-match interview.
