The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) National League third leg kicked off today at Nyayo Stadium, showcasing impressive performances from the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), Kenya Prisons, Kenya Forest Service (KFS), Trailblazers, and Kenya Army, all securing straight-set victories.

KDF delivered a hard-fought performance against Administration Police Kenya (APK), clinching a 3-0 victory with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, and 25-20. Despite the narrow margins, KDF maintained their composure during critical moments, ensuring they walked away with maximum points.

Kenya Prisons showcased their dominance against Western Prisons, winning decisively with a scoreline of 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-20) in their KVF National Men’s League match.

The Kenya Forest Service also put on a strong display, overcoming National Youth Service (NYS) with a commanding 3-0 victory, with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-19.

Trailblazers Volleyball Club exhibited their prowess at the Nyayo National Basketball Court, defeating Nairobi Prisons 3-0. The match concluded with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-20, as Trailblazers left no room for a comeback.

Kenya Army rounded out the day with an emphatic 3-0 win against Rift Valley Prisons, dominating the match with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, and 25-14.

In a separate match, the anticipated clash between General Service Unit (GSU) and Equity Bank was halted due to a power outage. At the time of the interruption, Equity Bank was leading the third set 9-5 after winning the first set 27-25 and losing the second set 24-26.

The action continues tomorrow, Friday, January 31, 2025 Saturday, February 1, 2025 before concluding on Sunday, January 2, 2025.
