Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe suffered an apparent ankle injury during the first half of PSG ,Marseille Ligue 1 Sunday fixture.
The french superstar was later replaced before the half hour mark by Goncalo Ramos.
Mbappe had early in the match , tangled his left foot with Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi, after which he appeared to limp with his right foot.
PSG were awarded a free kick put them on the lead after Achraf Hakimi found the back of the net eight minutes into the match.
However he continued to play on until the pain became unbearable and he was sent off the field.
Mbappe has scored eight goal in five matches for PGS after this season after his return to the first-team following a contract disagreement with the club.
Paris Saint Germain however went demolished Marseille 4-0 despite the absence of Mbappe.
Randal kolo went on to double the lead in the in the 37th minute.
Mbappe’s replacement Goncalo Ramos went on to score a brace and finish the night with three point extra on the table.

PSG manager Luis Enrique has disclosed that the injury suffered by his star sticker is nothing too serious.
“I don’t think it is anything serious and I suppose he will be back soon but it is better not to take risks when a player is not 100 per cent.” he said after the match.
The win puts Paris in the fourth place behind two points Brest .
The surprise leaders had on Saturday beat lyon 1-0.
