Legendary actor Charles Ouda has sadly passed on at the age of 38 with his family coming forward to confirm.
With a Facebook post, the family updated the public on the tragic state of the Kenyan actor.
The late Ouda’s family shared a sorrowful message with Ouda’s fiancée Former BBC journalist Ciru Muriuki.
The family shared the message on Ouda’s Facebook post about their loss with the public.
“It is with deep sorrow that the family of Charles ‘Charlie’ J. Ouda and Ciru Muriuki inform you of his passing on the night of 3rd February 2024.”

The family has asked the general public to give it time to come to terms with the tragic loss of their loved one.
“We appeal to all to give his fiancée Ciru, and the Oudas space to grieve this unfathomable loss” read the statement.
The family is yet to share details of the actor’s death as they stated that more details will follow in due time.
The family has kept the sad news of Charles passing in a tight circle with minimal details on the actor’s demise.
The statement shared on Facebook was updated by Charles’ sister Elizabeth Ouda on behalf of the family.

Charles’ Acting career
The actor has graced the Kenyan screen with breathtaking performances from Better Days, High Learning, and Makutano Junction among many theatrical performances.
Ouda began his acting career early making appearances in TV series that would later cement him as a household name on Kenyan television.
Consequently, Ouda has been on Kenyan TV for the longest time possible accomplishing a fit of success second to nobody.
Ouda’s latest appearance on screen is on the hit drama series Salem which he appears as the principal of Salem High for season two.
The actor was part of a dynamic with fellow actor Jackie Matubia joining Salem for season two of its run on Showmax.
With the passing of Ouda, it is unclear the direction projects he was on would take as we wait for more details from his family.
