Video: Diamond's horrendous song before money and fame

Born Nasibu Abdul Juma in October 2, 1989, Diamond Platnumz is arguably one of the biggest musicians to ever come out of the East African region.
The 29-year-old Bongo superstar has risen from grass to grace to make millions of shillings from concerts, tours, brand endorsements just to mention a few.
Although he is surrounded by controversies especially when it comes to the women in his life, Diamond seems to be smiling all the way to the bank.
It wasn't always rosy and glamorous though. The talented singer has never shied away from his humble background.
He reveals that his father abandoned them, forcing his mother to step up and become the provider.
Diamond's alleged first-ever song is a testimony of his struggling days. The song titled 'Toka Mwanzo' features Fatma and Romy Jones.
His vocals sounded a bit off and his outfits looked like they were bought from the cheapest thrift store.
The video shows how determination, hard work, and talent can lift you from the dirt.
